Off the Vise
So, these are a couple of flies off the vise that I've tied on those days that haven't been so great for fishing. Sorry about the quality of the pictures... I'm still getting used to this up-close photo thing. I'm looking to fish a lot of soft hackles this year and have been gathering a few ideas. The patterns are: the badger spider (my personal favorite dry fly), pheasant tail soft hackle, griffith's gnat, an unnamed soft hackle, an orange boss, a clouser swimming nymph, and two other unnamed soft hackles (the last one is a kind of variation of a march brown soft hackle with a peacock head). I hope they work out. I'll post a report as soon as I get the chance.
